Introduction

Simplify.media is a web project designed and created by Simplify Europe LTD.

Our Privacy Policy is contained below and provides a detailed explanation as to how we may use and disclose your Personal Data provided to us by your visit to our website or your submission of details to us to use Simplify Europe services (the “Service”). 

1. We are committed to protecting your privacy

We collect the minimum amount of information about you that is commensurate with providing you with a satisfactory service. This Policy indicates the type of processes that may result in data being collected about you. Your use of this website gives us the right to collect that information.
2. Personal Data

In this Privacy Policy, "Personal Data" means data relating to a living individual who can be identified from that data (or from that data and other information in our possession).
3. Information collected

We may collect any or all of the information that you give us depending on the type of transaction you enter into, including your name, address, telephone number, fax number and E-mail address, together with data about your use of the website. Other information that may be needed from time to time to process a request may also be collected as indicated on the website.
4. E-mail address

4.1. When you first register as a user of the Service, we ask for your E-mail address. We will use your E-mail address to communicate important information about your account, such as payments due, or to reset your password.
4.2. If you have chosen to be on our mailing list, we send you our newsletter, and/or offers and promotions from Simplify Europe or our carefully selected partners about products or services that we consider to be relevant to you. At the end of our newsletters or offers, we always provide you with the opportunity to remove yourself from our mailing list. You may also opt in or out of either form of mailing by clicking My Details from the control bar of any site to which you are logged in, and select Edit my Details. If your E-mail address has been shared with one of our partners, that partner is also bound by the terms of our Privacy Policy and any communications from them will include instructions on how to be removed from their list.

4.3. If you choose to become a member of one of our other customers' sites, you are agreeing to disclose your E-mail address to the administrator of that site. Through the Service, a site administrator can choose to mail individual members, groups of members or the entire membership of the site. When you join, you can choose to not be part of the mailing list. You can at any time choose to remove yourself from the mailing list of a site by using the unsubscribe function at the end of every E-mail sent from the Simplify Europe system.

4.4. If you are logged in to any Simplify Europe site, and choose to post information, your posting will, by default, include your E-mail address. You can remove or edit this address before you submit your posting. You may also choose to be notified by our system of replies or updates, in which case your E-mail address will again be used.

4.5. If you build a site with us, you provide a site E-mail address that is published on your site as a way of contacting the site owner. This defaults to your E-mail address, but can be updated through Manage Your Site.

5. Principles of Data Protection

5.1. Data collected in the UK is held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
5.2. Our obligations under the Act are that all Personal Data must be:

    (a) processed fairly and lawfully;
    (b) processed for limited purposes and in an appropriate way;
    (c) adequate, relevant and not excessive for the purpose;
    (d) accurate;
    (e) not kept longer than necessary for the purpose;
    (f) processed in line with data subjects' rights;
    (g) secure; and
    (h) not transferred to people or organisations situated in countries without adequate protection.

6. Disclosure of Personal Data

6.1. Simplify Europe does not sell, trade or transfer your Personal Data to third parties. However, we may share your Personal Data with our business partners for marketing, advertising or product/service offering purposes. For example, we provide Personal Data to our service providers for direct emailing of our newsletters, online surveys or notifications on Simplify Europe Offerings to our viewers. We also disclose Personal Data if: 


    (a) we have your consent; 
    (b) we need to share it in order to provide you with products and/or services you requested; 
    (c) we respond to a Court order or you violate our Terms and Conditions. 

6.2. You may separately agree to provide your personal information to third parties that provide content for Simplify Europe Offerings, in order to access and/or use their products and /or services. If you agree to provide such information to these third parties, then your personal information will be subject to their privacy policies.

7. External Links

Our site may include third party advertising and links to other websites. We do not disclose individually identifiable customer Personal Data to these advertisers or third party websites.
8. Credit/Debit Card Details, Billing Address and Payment History

8.1. Data in relation to credit / debit card payments are processed by PayPal. If you use this method of payment you will authorise regular payments to be made for your subscription to Simplify Europe. In doing so, you will be asked by PayPal for your card details and billing address. We do not store credit / debit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties.

8.2. We have no access to your credit/debit card details, but we may have access to your billing address and payment history in order to assist with customer service enquiries. Under no circumstances are these details disclosed to any third parties.
9. Security

When you enter personally identifying information, your details are transmitted across the internet. We do not and cannot guarantee security of information collected or transmitted electronically; however, we take all necessary steps to provide the best security available. As a result of our inability to guarantee safety, you are submitting information to us at your own risk.

11. Your consent

By registering with Simplify Europe and using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information by us in the ways described above. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this page, thus you should peruse this Policy habitually.

12. Access to Information

The UK Data Protection Act 1998 gives you access to any data we have about you. You may at any time request to be informed of the personal information which we hold about you. To comply with this request, we will charge you a fee of £10 to cover our costs in providing you with the details of the information we hold about you.
